Low Voltage Submersible Lights in Ponds

Hi,

I read the article on the submersible lights for the pond. What brand of lights did you buy and does the submersible light attach to the low voltage line strung around the yard like the other landscape lights or does the submersible lights go directly to the transformer?
I have a pond and I would like to install some lights in the pond. All the lights I see on line come with about 20 feet of wire to attach to the transformer, they don’t talk about attaching them to the low voltage wire already in the ground. Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Mike,

I was close to the transformer, so I went straight in, but I don’t remember anything about not being able to attach to the other light strings in the yard. I bought the lights at Home Depot. The brand I don’t remember, it was what they were carrying at the time. What made it work was the sealed submersible unit!
